Daniele, you're right. It is Hermosa Beach Pier when I compare your pictures with Jacksonville Pier.
Especially, compare the railings and lights please.
Moreover Jacksonville's pier has fewer (and thicker) poles on the parapet.
The piers referred by Leo and himalayas84@yahoo.com are very similar; I think that the view is in California because I checked several images on the web and saw benches only on that pier.
