Devil's Punchbowl near Ramona, CA or Julian, CA
The vegetation and rock strata put me in mind of Fortescue Falls in Western Australia. It is not Fortescue but I would be surprised if it wasn't in the Pilbara region of WA.
Then again, this is a Google Street View image (copy the image location and post it to TinEye.com) so the image is likely to have been taken from a road...
