I literally looked TAMIL NADU Kodaikanal up and found that exact picture.
Romania
I believe the camera is located just north of Lazeshchyna, Ukraine at approximately:
48.283889 , 24.401767;
and pointing just slightly West of North. The barn-like structure on the hillside is just over one-half a kilometer away.
Carpathian Mountains, Ukraine
maybe aria Hoverla
This is typical transcarpathian landscape of Ucraine around mountain villages Verhovina and Dzembronya. I can't find the exact place. But You can find such landscapes there definately.

Micael's comment about building is helpful for me,

Carpatians for sure; Kodaikanal confirmed from a long time as "fake news".
Please have look at blog post titled "Why You Need to Visit Kodaikanal" by Nancy Polanco wherein she has used this photograph.

I have sent her a comment asking for her confirmation that this picture actually belongs to Kodaikanal. She has neither approved my comment nor answered it. Let's wait and see what she gives. If it is not Kodaikanal then I don't expect any answer from her.

Does not look like India to me in terms of vegetation and buildings. Rather Central European.
Strangely it is being sold as "India" as well; both the picture and travel/a trip as well.

# 7458 was not attributed to anyone, so I didn't know who had put the pin. In fact, I thought the pin in Romania was from an anonymous and you only gave the description, without putting another one.
Leonid Tit has his photo collections on many sites such as Colourbox and Stockfresh, etc. The photos appear in different orders, so the Transylvania photo just happens to follow on the site I linked. Here are a few others that say it is Carpathian Mountains of Ukraine. I am trying to provide helpful clues with other similar photos from the photographer.

Sorry Daniele, I can't read minds just yet. I was probably wrong with my #7458 pin, which is probably what you want to hear.
In Tit's album the series that contains this landscape ends with "Evening in Transylvania"; why?
Leonid Tit is the photographer and confirms the Carpathian Mountain Ukraine location, but not the exact location. He has taken a couple different views. Maybe this will help.

I took a look at the photos of the area on gmaps and I realized that it is one where people place them more randomly.
So no confirmation or denial with this criterion.
Pin copied from #7458, but I'm not so convinced; on the maps the area appears much more wooded. For me the hypothesis Ukraine remains valid (or another area in Romania).
