Hello
Many thanks for identifying my four Ilfracombe shots. Annoyingly we went there in 1997, but I did not recognise this from my late Uncle's slides from 1963. The trawler was my first line of attack, and established the BS code was Beaumaris in Anglesey, which totally threw me, and never google earthed Ilfracombe, mainly I suppose because we had been there, so feel silly about this now !!!

Thank you very much. First, I thought that the combination of houses on a hill and a harbor are characteristic, then I searched by image search, and the following page was hit. Other places were found just neighborhood search with this clue.

Master sleuth unimaru ! I found the trawler was originally registered in Glasgow and ran aground in Fleetwood Isle of Man, so I spent my time searching those places without success.
