This is a photograph of servicemen and women attending the amusement park at the Empire Exhibition, Bellahouston Park, Glasgow, Scotland. It closed in 1939, at the outbreak of war. You can just see the roundabout swings on the left. Apart from a couple of buildings, the 1938 exhibtion was demolished.
