The area is bilingual (in German: Martelltal - Zufrittsee). The nearby car should be in the pitch at the tunnel exit. The second link shows the plain in the background: many huts have remained the same, those in the foreground were built later. The forest has grown and the environment looks different. I was convinced by the plain with the grove between the road and the stream.

Sorry, can't be Klausenpass. There's no location there with so many consecutive hairpin turns.

I don't have a definitive solution, but one hint that can maybe let others progress. Looking at the sign, it could have be written "CADUTA MASSI - STEINSCHLAG". That could possibly point to a pass road at an italian-german linguistic border. As I don't recognize a swiss pass road in this picture, it could be an italian one leading to Trentino-Südtirol. My first thought goes to the Stelvio, at the point marked on the map and illustrated in this old postcard: external link But It doesn't seem to match perfectly, so I think it needs further research to find the exact spot on the right road.
Wrong description: the San Boldo pass is in Veneto, far from Switzerland; road and environment are very different, in low altitude, there are no firs. But I'm not even sure it's the Maloja, where I see the pin.
