The name of the village is written on the road sign in the bottom left corner. It looks like an italian road sign. The first part of the writing could be "loc.", meaning "località" (resort, locality), as usual for a detached part of a community.
The architecture of the building reminds me to the one of the "Palazzo vescovile" in Balerna, Switzerland (but in another urban context: external link That, and the morphology of the mountains could point to northern Italy, like north Lombardy.
But where exactly?
