yes - thank you. i Know:-) I thought it was some kind of hotel ressort... but it´s a public advertisment on the other side of the street.
@hunter. I am also not French speaking :-)
However as per Google BATEAUX means boats and as per Wikipedia Bateau is a shallow-draft, flat-bottomed boat. The blue flags are probably advertisement for some boat company.
