I conclude: the woods, not very steep, with well-separated clearings, are not those of the upper valley of Zermatt. Who knows who did the work on the snow (and who knows where)? if even this is not a fake!.
SW could be right for a winter sunset, but the lights are typical for a boreal aurora, of course. Never seen on the Alps.

The aurora is also pretty unlikely, especially with so much light, and in the SW, not the north.
The photomontage is almost certain: the upper part is seen as it appears from over 2500 m; the lower part shows huts and woods as about 2000 m.
