I took this photo in March 1997 with a note that says German Autobahn Artwork. I think it was at a small rastplatz in southern Germany autobahn in Baden-Wurttemberg. May not be there any longer. Don;t know how often Germany removes artwork.

@Krenek - Well done. Good detective work inspite of constraints due to lack of Google Street View in most of Germany.

Ok, this page external link mentions Memmingen, it's not enough yet. Another link mentions the village of Wideregg, bingo !

The A96 highway is like 3000000 km long = I don't understand why, most of the time, artists are totally obscure about location of their works of art!?!
I posted it, but didn't delete it. Thanks to Krenek for for finding it. I looked down A96 but couldn't find it.
