I was with a combat intelligence unit for many years, but I was in charge of IT and communications deployment planning, training, and sustaining the mission into Bosnia. My team did a lot of great work in Sarajevo and Kosovo after the Dayton Accord ended. I did nothing with photography / imaging. I do this as a hobby along with travel photography since I retired from all my jobs back in 2006.
@dagger66 Wow, if I have to guess, I'd say you were in intelligence, studying aerial photographs!
Did not live near St. Petersburg. Lived in Germany for 18 years, once during the height of the Cold War during the late 1960;s early 1970's as a US Soldier. While stationed overseas, we were never permitted to travel to Soviet countries.
