I often find street views on the google maps with the red tip of the compass facing south.

Strangely the Google Maps view below is correct, but the orientation on the Google map (the compass) is off by 180 degrees: it show east as west and the other way around. Maybe an issue in the image itself (or the compass in the camera, e.g. the picture was taken upside-down or so).

This looks like the Tryol in northern Italy. Can anyone please confirm or correct me? Thanks, Mary
