I simply don't understand... my profile counts 269 favorites collected (partly already located, but not marked as located yet - anyway, i've spent some time...), but favorites currently end on page 11. So, 115 favorites currently left alive - far less than 50%. Really strange...

I was near giving up, too. Then i started to use the stock photo as base for image searching. Compared to the uploaded pic, It's less distorted and it isn't cropped at the right margin. I've got a image search hit exactly by searching using a part from the lower right area of the (stock) pic.

Prince Chumphon Veterans Memorial Shrine, Tha Hin, Amphoe Sawi, Chumphon, Thailand.

I can't explain why the stock photo ( external link ) is in fact tagged with california, berkeley and so on.

Some more pics of that place:

The Prince of Chumphon, Admiral Prince Abhakara Kiartivongse, is commonly reveared as "The Father of Thai Navy". See also his Wikipedia entry: external link

Ok - i've located it - is it ok if i add the location here? Or should the location kept undisclosed until it's solved in the GEC Forum?
